Meet Dr. Vogel

Dr. Evan Vogel received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Northwestern University. He further received his dental training and DDS from Northwestern University Dental School where among other honors he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honorary Society as well as receiving the Pierre Fouchard Academy Award. Dr. Vogel chose to pursue specialty training receiving his Certificate of Specialization in Orthodontics as well as a Masters of Science degree in Oral Biology from the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF). He continues to do research in the science of orthodontics and holds a position as Clinical Professor on the faculty  at UCSF in the department of Oral Facial Sciences.  Dr. Vogel is an active member in organized dentistry having been elected to the Board of the  Southern Alameda County Dental Society and ultimately serving as its President. Dr. Vogel  currently serves as the President of the UCSF Orthodontic Alumni Association and is involved with a number of community service organizations.

Dr. Vogel has memberships in the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, California State Society of Orthodontists, and the California Dental Association. 

When not practicing the art of orthodontics or teaching the science of orthodontics Dr. Vogel enjoys spending time with his family, watching his girls play soccer, playing classical music, and traveling.
